The TERJA Foundation’s reusable sanitary pad project has grown into a powerful initiative creating social, educational, and economic change. Women and girls in Namasanda are learning to sew reusable pads, underwear, bags, and clothing using natural and biodegradable materials.
These skills have improved school attendance, built confidence, and created income-generating opportunities through product sales and table banking. Just as importantly, the project has fostered a strong sense of community among the women.
