Story Telling
The mission of our TERJA storytelling project is to build compassionate communities through mindful storytelling. The purpose of this is to engage multiple generations in interactive storytelling and experiential learning activities that cultivate compassionate communication, appreciation for nature and the environment, disparate communities finding common ground and shared vision, universal interconnectedness and more.
Our Impact
TERJA’s Community Unity Video Voices exchange project links diverse students across communities to collaborate over a large scale and prevent and solve local, regional, and global issues of concern. As Students are given opportunities to speak up and hear others, they can collaborate to help us find creative solutions to different global issues.
The TERJA Community Unity Story Exchange Project creates the opportunity for students in the United States to interact with international students from all over the world through a video story exchange program. Our team facilitates these partnerships and works with students of partnering schools to create and share video stories about their lives and communities. There is no charge for services, under most circumstances.

Stories that inspire and compel children and youth can create a positive impact on the world, one child at a time. You have the power to make a difference.
Students will gain an understanding of each other’s lives, learn to respect each other’s differences, and accept each other without sacrificing their own authentic selves. In fact, it is probable that they discover deeper aspects of their own authenticity, which will lead to a common ground for all.
Individuals are able to build meaningful connections and bridges that enable them to contribute their own strengths and skills to an inclusive network that connects people from around the world to exchange ideas, share opinions, find solutions, and promote mutual understanding.
It is our mission to eradicate inequalities, injustices, and inequities that impede communities
and individuals from contributing to a stable economy, mutually beneficial collaboration,
and sustainable communities around the globe.
Today’s workplace and neighborhood communities face the growing challenge of connecting diverse people and their viewpoints into a cohesive and constructive way of operating. Instead, employees, students, and customers struggle to communicate in ways where they can hear each other. As a result, we miss opportunities for consensus and effective problem-solving.
Through interactive learning and immersion experiences, students and adults gain the ability to engage in authentic, mindful communication.
TERJA Community Unity Story Exchange Video Project is a TERJA Foundation program that elevates students’ stories by opening a social impact video portal to global visibility and connection. The objective – to hear and be heard. We facilitate and engage students and other mentors from different communities, even world hemispheres apart, in this innovative experiential learning that results in authentic communication immersion.
Our Objective
Workplace and neighborhood communities face the growing challenges of bringing together diverse people and viewpoints toward cohesive, constructive interactions and outcomes.
