Steven Skeele, PE, PMP is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, and in Louisiana, Colorado, New York, and Pennsylvania. Steven graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Tompkins-Cortland Community College (Central NY) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY). His degree focus was civil/structural engineering, and he minored in History. Steven took several structural graduate classes at Syracuse University and Cornell University.
Steven has been a consulting transportation engineer for 35 years, working for several state Departments of Transportation, Toll Road Authorities, and other port, aviation, transit/rail agencies. From 2007 to 2010 he assisted in the FEMA-funded rebuilding of roads and services in New Orleans, LA and Biloxi, MS. In 2017 he obtained his Project Management Professional certification, in 2021 his Associate Design Build Institute certification, and he is Director of Transportation at T.Y. Lin International in Austin, TX. Steven has been a member of Engineers Without Borders since 2016. He has assisted in the assessment, design, and construction of sustainable clean water and sanitary waste projects for marginalized communities in the Peru Amazon, Kenya Highlands, and northern mountains of Thailand.
Lynette Injette Ochola is a versatile development professional with over 20 years of experience in international development, most of which have been in senior leadership and management roles in Africa and Asia with organizations such as DFID (EA), OXFAM (GB), Habitat for Humanity, UN-Habitat, Pact among others. She is a strategist who has championed various innovations in programming, fundraising/resource mobilization, and partnership building. She has an excellent grasp of the cross-cutting issues with core competencies in resource mobilization, people management, strategic planning, program design and execution, organizational development and strengthening, financial management and budgetary control and partnerships and strategic alliances formation.
She has proven expertise in organizations internal strengthening, policy influencing, multi-stakeholder engagement including community, private sector, civil society, and government structures at different levels. Lynette counts on extensive program management using result-based for multi-sectoral projects related to housing, governance, education, urban development, health, peace building and conflict transformation, social justice and inclusion, food security, gender-based issues and youth development, economic empowerment, and other cross cutting development issues.
With strong knowledge of strategic planning, organizational management and strengthening, program management, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) and donor management and compliance with focus on getting strong teams together around the work, she provides strategic leadership representation both internally and externally and contributes to raising the profile of the organization. This is demonstrated by success in various development and donor organizations where she oversaw all elements including work plan design, implementation, reporting, staff recruitment and coordination with local partners and international partners (donors and likeminded development and education agencies). She has strong management skills and proven ability to take overall responsibility. This includes programmatic and technical oversight of on-going projects, leading in new business development, drawing up country/regional security plans and ensuring the security and well-being of all staff and assets, liaison and representation, overall human resource management including lead on recruitment, overall country/regional budget and pipeline, donor relations, contract management and lead in overall strategy in the country/region.
As a result of working in different countries with different communities, donors and governments covering different technical areas, she has honed interpersonal and communication skills which is further demonstrated by the ability to provide excellent mentoring to staff and frequently represent to donors, high-level Government representatives and other stakeholders. Lynette is also a published writer and serves on various boards. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the school of Business and Economics, AIU USA, Postgraduate in Public Administration and Policy from Thames University, Woolwich, London, UK and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi.
Collins osundwa is a husband and a father of three children. He works as a sales representative for Fritolay company based in Houston Texas a position he has held for sixteen years. He graduated with a Bachelor of chemistry from the university of Houston Clearlake. Collins is enthusiastic about giving, music, sports, travelling and just recently cryptocurrency. Collins’s focus is education and most importantly how it intertwines with the arts, music, sports and ‘street smartness’.
