Dr. Ashika Skeele is a dedicated professor of education and child development, with a rich academic background and a passion for justice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, followed by a Master’s and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction/Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, and the University of Houston, respectively. Additionally, she holds a Nonprofit Executive certification from the Susanne M. Glasscock School at Rice University.
Fluent in several languages, including French, German, and Swahili, Dr. Skeele is deeply invested in the intersections of Environmental Justice, Education Justice, and Racial Justice. Her commitment to these causes is evident through her active involvement as a guild member at the Rothko Chapel in Houston, where she engages in advancing human rights and social justice through various programs, lectures, and community conversations.
Dr. Skeele also serves as a trainer for Population Education, a Washington D.C.-based organization dedicated to exploring human population trends and their impacts on environmental quality and human well-being.

Nancy Mutika Osundwa-Waldrup is an Area Manager with four years of experience at Wakefields inc. She is an accomplished merchandiser and enjoys using her skills to contribute to the exciting advances that happen daily at Wakefields inc. Nancy received her Education at Moi University Eldoret, Kenya (Maseno University College) where she graduated with a Bachelors in Education, English/Literature. She is an avid reader and is the process of learning Spanish. Nancy currently resides in Jacksonville, Alabama with her husband Ken.

Lynette Injette Ochola is a versatile development professional with over 20 years of experience in international development, most of which have been in senior leadership and management roles in Africa and Asia with organizations such as DFID (EA), OXFAM (GB), Habitat for Humanity, UN-Habitat, Pact among others. She is a strategist who has championed various innovations in programming, fundraising/resource mobilization, and partnership building. She has an excellent grasp of the cross-cutting issues with core competencies in resource mobilization, people management, strategic planning, program design and execution, organizational development and strengthening, financial management and budgetary control and partnerships and strategic alliances formation.
She has proven expertise in organizations internal strengthening, policy influencing, multi-stakeholder engagement including community, private sector, civil society, and government structures at different levels. Lynette counts on extensive program management using result-based for multi-sectoral projects related to housing, governance, education, urban development, health, peace building and conflict transformation, social justice and inclusion, food security, gender-based issues and youth development, economic empowerment, and other cross cutting development issues.
With strong knowledge of strategic planning, organizational management and strengthening, program management, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) and donor management and compliance with focus on getting strong teams together around the work, she provides strategic leadership representation both internally and externally and contributes to raising the profile of the organization. This is demonstrated by success in various development and donor organizations where she oversaw all elements including work plan design, implementation, reporting, staff recruitment and coordination with local partners and international partners (donors and likeminded development and education agencies). She has strong management skills and proven ability to take overall responsibility. This includes programmatic and technical oversight of on-going projects, leading in new business development, drawing up country/regional security plans and ensuring the security and well-being of all staff and assets, liaison and representation, overall human resource management including lead on recruitment, overall country/regional budget and pipeline, donor relations, contract management and lead in overall strategy in the country/region.
As a result of working in different countries with different communities, donors and governments covering different technical areas, she has honed interpersonal and communication skills which is further demonstrated by the ability to provide excellent mentoring to staff and frequently represent to donors, high-level Government representatives and other stakeholders. Lynette is also a published writer and serves on various boards. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the school of Business and Economics, AIU USA, Postgraduate in Public Administration and Policy from Thames University, Woolwich, London, UK and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi.

Steven Skeele, PE, PMP is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, and in Louisiana, Colorado, New York, and Pennsylvania. Steven graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Tompkins-Cortland Community College (Central NY) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY). His degree focus was civil/structural engineering, and he minored in History. Steven took several structural graduate classes at Syracuse University and Cornell University.
Steven has been a consulting transportation engineer for 35 years, working for several state Departments of Transportation, Toll Road Authorities, and other port, aviation, transit/rail agencies. From 2007 to 2010 he assisted in the FEMA-funded rebuilding of roads and services in New Orleans, LA and Biloxi, MS. In 2017 he obtained his Project Management Professional certification, in 2021 his Associate Design Build Institute certification, and he is Director of Transportation at T.Y. Lin International in Austin, TX. Steven has been a member of Engineers Without Borders since 2016. He has assisted in the assessment, design, and construction of sustainable clean water and sanitary waste projects for marginalized communities in the Peru Amazon, Kenya Highlands, and northern mountains of Thailand.

Kenneth was born in Bremerhaven, Germany and received his education in Maryland, Germany, Virginia and Alabama.
Prior to starting his current job at Food Ingredients Technology Company (a food manufacturing company) in 1995, he worked various jobs. He has held many positions at his current employment from Production general labor to quality assurance where he performed testing in Chemistry & amp; Microbiology. While in QA he set up a documentation system used for 3rd party audits which are primarily used for British Retail Consortium (BRC) audit. Presently he works with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in maintenance, where he orders parts, manages budgets, documentation and inspections. He has a passion for computing and a beginning understanding of program writing in C++ and Python, as well as web applications like SQL, PHP and HTML.
Ken is a loving husband to Nancy, has 2 children and a beautiful grandson.

Solomon Osundwa has over 25 years’ experience at Senior Manager level in the Oil Industry having worked for Chevron, Kenol Kobil , Vitol and the Hass Petroleum Group, where currently he is the Group Chief Operating Officer.
He is a Strategist with a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from the University of Nairobi. In addition he has studied Strategy in a Competitive Business Environment at Harvard Business School.
Solomon is the Board Chair of Talentplex Holdings, Twenty Talents and Vega Limited. He is also a Board Member of the Shalom Group of Hospitals and a past Director of Nissan Kenya.
Solomon is a staunch Christian and currently is the Chairman of the Elders’ Court at Nairobi Baptist Church where he has served in various ministries for the last two decades.
He is married to June Osundwa and they are blessed with three children.

Roseline Ingutia has worked as a teacher in several schools including Rusinga School (Nairobi, Kenya) where she currently teaches History, Religious Studies and Divinity. She also heads the Humanities and Social Sciences Department and is the advisor of both the Middle School Model United Nations and the Bee and Bowl International History Competition.

Oscar Osundwa serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Senior Care Excellence. He brings to the company over sixteen years of management experience. Oscar has a degree in Nursing from GC Texas. He began his career as a Manager at the Home Depot, before transitioning into Nursing as a Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing, Nurse Consultant, Vice of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Today as Chief Operating Officer he provides support necessary to ensure the safety of the Patients, achievement of compliance with regulations, while also monitoring company operations, census development, labor management, and budgetary management. Oscar currently is a member of Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services panel on Deployment of Alternative Methods to Antipsychotic Medications in Individuals with Dementia, board member of Galveston college and is the founder of A to Z Nurse Consultants a company that focuses on regulatory compliance in skilled nursing facilities.

Savannah believes that effective social platform management and promotion are crucial in the outreach to those who are willing to be involved with TERJA. In addition to volunteering with TERJA, Savannah also volunteers with her church and has been an activist within both her school and community. Savannah is pursuing a BS in Psychology at the University of Houston, with hopes of gaining her Masters in Social Work, to later open her own counseling practice.

Flora Mwanja is a tutor by profession. She holds a B.Ed - English and Literature (Maseno University) and MPhil in Communication Studies (Moi University). She has over 14 Years of work experience; 8 Years working in Corporate Communication’s establishments and 6 Years in Education programing at college and University level as well as working with NGO’s in implementing Education Programs in Kenya (Kakuma refugee camp) and Djibouti (Ali Addeh and Hol Hol refugee camps).
When she is not working, Flora enjoys living a quiet life with her family in the small town of Machakos County were she says “a lot of surprisingly big things are happening”. She also likes volunteering and to travel places, whenever she has the slightest excuse.

She is a National Wellness Institute certified wellness practitioner, master wellness coach, worksite wellness consultant, and internationally published author. In 1982, she launched a corporate and community business focused on making wellness and fitness accessible for everyone.
